World Bank Visit to Halaman

A few months ago, Ed Mountfield, Vice President for Infrastructure, Private Sector, and Guarantees at the World Bank, visited our company. This visit marked a significant milestone not only for Halaman Printing and Packaging Inc., but also for showcasing the potential of Turkey’s production and export-oriented private sector. As highlighted in Mr. Mountfield’s article published on the official World Bank blog, the role of the private sector in achieving development goals is becoming increasingly critical. In countries like Turkey, with its dynamic and strategic position, this contribution directly impacts not only economic growth but also employment, sustainability, and innovation. At Halaman Printing and Packaging, we are proud to be part of this vision.

Responsible Production, Global Vision

One of the key messages emphasized in the World Bank article is the importance of encouraging private sector investment through guarantees and public-private partnerships. At Halaman, we carry out our investments in accordance with international standards in areas such as environmental responsibility, digital transformation, ethical production, and food safety. Our investment in advanced technologies, such as the HP Indigo 35K HD, is a clear reflection of this approach.

A Brand Creating Value Through Export

Exporting to more than 30 countries today, Halaman Printing and Packaging not only draws the attention of global institutions like the World Bank but also takes on the mission of promoting Turkey’s manufacturing power and branding potential on the world stage. Mr. Mountfield’s visit is a testament not only to our past achievements but also to our future vision.

Our Thanks and Our Outlook

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Ed Mountfield and the World Bank delegation for their valuable visit and for the trust they place in Turkey’s private sector. At Halaman, we will continue to work toward our goals of environmentally conscious, sustainable, and high value-added production.
